Day 10.
Lv. Mumbai
Morning play golf at Bombay
Presidency Golf Club.
BOMBAY PRESIDENCY GOLF
CLUB - The eighteen-
Hole, par 70 course yards 6223/5463,
spread over an Expanse of 90-acre,
was founded in 1927 and was redesigned
to international standards by
the legendary five-time British
Open champion Peter Thompson.
Presidency’s fairways are narrow
and tight, but its greens are
undoubtedly the best in the country.
The real test is, however the
variable and shifting sea breeze,
which could fox even the most
experienced player. It is not
a difficult course. It’s not too
long, not too narrow, and yet
not an easy course to break par.
(The fifteenth- hole is one of
the most challenging. A 480 yard,
par 5, a dog leg to the right,
with a fairway trap strategically
placed to catch the long hitter
trying to cut the corner).
On time transfer to international
airport to connect flight for
onward destination.
